What is the GMAT Focus Edition?
The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) Focus Edition is the standardized exam for MBA and graduate business-school admissions worldwide. Launched in late 2023, it replaced the traditional GMAT with a shorter, more focused test that takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes and measures your readiness for graduate-level business education across three sections.

Each of the three sections is scored from 60 to 90, and all three are weighted equally — each contributes one third of your composite. How is your total GMAT score calculated?
Your total GMAT Focus score is built from your three section scores. Because all three sections are equally weighted, each contributes 33.3% to your composite. The section scores are combined and scaled onto the 205–805 range. For example, sections of 90, 85, and 88 map to roughly a 755 total, while three 75s map to about a 505.
