Privacy Policy
10Exam ("we", "us") is a test-prep practice platform at www.10exam.com offering practice tests, drills, and score tools for exams such as the SAT, GMAT, GRE, TOEFL, IELTS, and ACT. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using our website, you consent to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, date of birth, and a password (stored only as a secure hash). You may optionally add profile details such as a photo, phone number, address, city, country, the exam you are preparing for, and your planned exam date. If you register a passkey, we store only its public key — passkeys never reveal a password or biometric data to us.
Sign-in with Google or Facebook
If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider to create or sign in to your 10Exam account. We never see or store your Google or Facebook password. You can also disconnect a linked provider from your account settings at any time.
10Exam's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data — your name, email address, and profile picture — only to authenticate you and maintain your account; we do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Study activity
To power your account we store your practice activity: test and drill attempts, answers, scores, progress, notes, review decks, and related timestamps. Signed-out practice progress is kept only in your own browser's storage until you create an account.
Messages and support
When you contact us through the contact form or report a question issue, we keep your message, your email address, and — if you are signed in — the link to your account, so we can respond and track fixes.
Payments
Paid plans are processed by our merchant of record, Paddle. Paddle collects your payment details directly; we never receive or store your card number. We keep records of your plan, order status, and invoices.
Technical data
Like most websites we automatically receive technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you visit, through server logs, security services, and the analytics cookies described below. We also collect error diagnostics when something on the site breaks, so we can fix it.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate your account and sync study progress across devices; to send transactional email such as verification links, password resets, and receipts; to respond to support requests; to process payments and prevent fraud; to secure the site against abuse; and to understand and improve how the platform is used. If you opt in to progress digests or product updates, you can opt out at any time from your account settings or the link in each email.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under confidentiality obligations:
- Paddle — payment processing and invoicing (merchant of record)
- Resend — sending transactional and account email
- Cloudflare — content delivery, bot protection (Turnstile), and security
- Vultr — server hosting of our application and database
- Google — analytics and advertising as described below
- Sentry — error monitoring and diagnostics
We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
4. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising
10Exam uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, protect forms from abuse, analyze website traffic, and personalize content and advertising. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in from working.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. This information is aggregated and used to measure and improve the performance of our services. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Google AdSense & Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on our website. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to 10Exam and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices. For more details on how Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps, see Google's Privacy & Terms.
Grow by Mediavine
We use Grow by Mediavine (https://publishers.grow.me/) as an advertising partner to serve and optimize ads on our website. Mediavine uses cookies to track ad performance and serve targeted advertisements based on your browsing activity. For more information about how Mediavine collects and uses data, please visit their website. You can manage your ad preferences through your browser settings or opt-out mechanisms provided by advertising networks.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account yourself from your account settings — this permanently removes your profile, study history, and sign-in credentials from our live systems, and the data then ages out of our encrypted backups on their rotation schedule. You can also download an export of your data from account settings before deleting. Contact messages and payment records may be retained longer where the law requires it.
6. Data Security
All traffic to 10Exam is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, backups are encrypted, and access to production systems is restricted and logged. No online system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information with industry-standard measures.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Most of this you can do directly in your account settings (profile edits, data export, account deletion, marketing opt-out). For anything else, contact us using the information below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Children's Privacy
10Exam is intended for students preparing for admissions and language exams. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
10. Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date, and the updated policy will take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
