What is the GRE?
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is a standardized test used by graduate and business schools worldwide to assess readiness for advanced study. It measures Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning — each scored 130–170 for a combined 260–340 — plus Analytical Writing, scored separately from 0.0 to 6.0.
What is the GRE test format?
The current shorter GRE runs about 1 hour 58 minutes in a single sitting with no scheduled break. Verbal and Quant each come as two sections, and the second adapts to how you did on the first.

What is a good GRE score?
